Kylian Mbappe – Monaco
Real Madrid seems like likely destination with Man City also interested. But Mbappe’s breakout season as an 18-year-old, both in Ligue 1 and during Monaco’s surprise run to the Champions League semifinals, made these links inevitable.
Antoine Griezmann – Atletico Madrid
The hottest name on the transfer market this summer however the French forward announced he would be staying at Atlético. With a release clause is reportedly 200 million euros, there are few clubs who can afford him. If Barcelona are considering Griezmann, it would most likely be next summer if it were to materialise.
Philippe Coutinho – Liverpool
The most likely deal to happen, Coutinho has been linked with a move to the Camp Nou all summer. Coutinho is not a like-for-like replacement as he is more used to playing centrally. But he can play out wide and would fit in well the Barcelona style of football.
Paulo Dybala – Juventus
The Juventus man is more second striker than winger, but he is an exceptional talent none the less. However, it is highly unlikely they will lure away from the Italian champions .
Ousmane Dembele – Borussia Dortmund
The French winger has been heavily linked with a move to Spain and he is realistic possibility. One thing is for sure, he certainly has the pace and the dribbling ability.
Eden Hazard – Chelsea
Highly unlikely Hazard would leave Chelsea, however he’d possibly cost about half the Neymar fee. Barcelona would be crazy to consider him at least as he is probably the closest like for like replacement for Neymar’s in world football.
Anthony Martial – Manchester United
The Manchester United man could replace Neymar as his style of play is similar and would fit in at Barcelona. However the French winger has a bad season last season as he continues to struggle to fulfill his true potential.
Alexis Sanchez – Arsenal
Sanchez has improved immensely as a player since leaving Barcelona, and he might be the closest like-for-like Neymar replacement available. Considering Barcelona could probably bring him back for about a third of Neymar’s price, he should be high on Barca’s shopping list.
Thomas Lemar – Monaco
At jus 21-year-old, Mbappe is a natural Neymar replacement to play on the wing. He tallied 14 goals across all competitions which would explain all the hype around him this summer. Arsenal and Real Madrid have been looking at the young star closely, but Barcelona might be smarter to bring in Lemar.
Domenico Berardi – Sassuolo
Its not the first time Berardi has been linked with Barcelona. He is a versatile attacker who can play anywhere across an attacking three with lots of potential to continue to develop. However, this move probably the least likely to happen.
